
Challenging Logistics
Selected by Marriott International for the 10,000sf lobby renovation for one of its featured New York City locations, logistics are a key project issue. As the lobby, front desk and concierge and restaurant/bar undergo a complete renovation, our staff is working diligently to create a detailed logistics plan and schedule to work around the hotel operations. With the hotel occupied 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, construction is scheduled to accommodate quiet morning and evening hours to minimize inconveniences to the guests. Our staff worked closely with the project team to develop a three phase construction plan that allowed for sections of the lobby to be under construction while other areas were open for business.
Successful Collaboration
With over a dozen projects completed for Marriott, our staff is intimately familiar with the standards, procedures and goals of the Marriott Architecture and Construction Division. We have had the opportunity to work with their staffs in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC on small upgrade to extensive renovation projects. We have successfully completed projects in New York, Massachusetts, Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, DC and even San Juan, Puerto Rico.
