The New Neighborhood

The Guangdong High Tech Service Zone for Financial Institutions was created to attract businesses to the region. Capgemini was one of the first major international financial services companies to locate there. The zone which covers an area of 18 square kilometers has flourished as a location for back office services. Our firm recently assisted in the successful management and handover of Capgemini’s new 90,000sf office space.

Coordinating Construction

Capgemini’s business philosophy is “we say what we do and do what we say.” Our team adopted this motto as well when constructing their office space. Our staff worked closely with the project team during preconstruction to create a detailed logistics plan and comprehensive schedule for the work. The project included fit-out of five floors of offices to support 800 staff. A key component of the project was the construction of the walkway between the two buildings. Created to become meeting rooms and casual meeting corners this area leads to part of the atrium and into semi-open cafeteria that accommodated smokers and non-smokers.
