Swimmingly Successful
Originally built in 1972, the Doubletree Hotel’s indoor swimming pool on the 14th floor was in need of renovation. Structure Tone’s expert hospitality team was poolside, ready to complete the project safely and quietly with minimal disruption to hotel operations. While the hotel was in full operation, renovations were closely coordinated with hotel staff to mitigate noise level sensitivity and safety of the hotel staff and guests.
Construction activities were carefully pre-planned by Structure Tone’s team to avoid disruptions to the in-use conference rooms located on the same floor. The team monitored the noise level to avoid any disruptions to the hotel guests as well. The new plumbing installed from the 12th floor was completed with minimal disruption to the hotel guests staying on the floor.
Pool Fitness
The new, 3,900sf lap-pool area featured ceramic tiling, a custom tiled wall mural and a new poolside area. The pool features views to the surrounding area and a loft-like frosted glass ceiling. The scope of work included upgrades to the:

- mechanical equipment
- HVAC and electrical systems
