- a new 21,000sf performing arts center
- a new 13,000sf middle school
- the interior and exterior renovation of the existing 10,000sf middle school
- a 38,400sf parking lot
- new drainage systems and utilities
- site improvements to roadways, plaza, landscaping and underground infrastructure
Performing Arts Center
The new Performing Arts Center (PAC) was built in the center of the school’s campus and is fully equipped with the latest audio/visual and theater lighting systems. The 630-seat Center provides students with music and drama rooms, a dance studio, a band and choral room, a multi-purpose and ensemble room, changing rooms and a catwalk and balcony with orchestra rooms. To help prevent sound overlap all vertical surfaces within the theater employ acoustical profiles as design elements to deflect sound, including special doors to prevent sound transmission, sound baffled wall systems with angled walls and no square corners and sound absorption panels and isolated floor slabs.
