Cliffs Notes

Founded in 1971 in New York City, Structure Tone began as an interiors construction company with two partners and a small group of employees. Although the early 1970s were challenging economic times, Structure Tone flourished and took in its first clients.

The firm grew over the next decade and expanded with new US offices in Massachusetts, New Jersey and Washington, DC, as well as globally with a London office. Structure Tone’s expansion in the 1980s also encompassed Texas with acquisition of Structure Tone Southwest, a full service construction management/general contracting firm.

In the 1990s, Pavarini Construction Co., Inc. joined the Structure Tone organization. Pavarini brought additional domestic and international construction management expertise and contributed to Structure Tone opening offices in Dublin and elsewhere where overseas.

To keep pace with the dotcom boom and technology explosion in the late 90s, Structure Tone founded ST Tech Services Inc. This division of the Structure Tone organization provides technology and telecommunication management services to a wide range of industries ranging from financial services to media/communications. It is a unique resource that Structure Tone offers all our clients to meet their data, telecom and AV/IT needs.

In 2002, Pavarini McGovern became part of the Structure Tone organization further broadening our firm’s core and shell construction expertise. The new century also heralded changes and further expansion for Structure Tone with additional offices in the US and Asia.

L. F. Driscoll is the newest member of the Structure Tone organization, joining Structure Tone in November 2009. L.F. Driscoll is headquartered in suburban Philadelphia and is one of the region's top builders, particularly for healthcare and life sciences research facilities.
