Jerry Grogan joins as VP of Healthcare & Life Sciences, Structure Tone Southwest
Jerry Grogan, CHC has joined Structure Tone Southwest as Vice President of Healthcare & Life Sciences. In this new position, Jerry will serve as head of the Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors for Structure Tone Southwest. He will assist our clients with their program needs, provide guidance and leadership to our project teams and build the strategy for pursuing additional work. By leveraging his relationships as well as those already in place, he will grow these markets significantly in the Southwest.

Jerry comes to Structure Tone Southwest with an extensive resume of clients and projects. Most recently, he served successfully as the project executive and contract manager for Hunt Construction on the $800M William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Under his leadership, the team recently completed a new 460-room hospital to serve the medical needs of the greater Dallas metro.
As a leader within the organization, he also championed the Lean Construction process for the project. By advocating the use of new technologies, he was instrumental in developing ways to deliver the project ahead of schedule and under budget while maintaining the highest quality construction. By following lean construction principles he implemented pull planning, prefabrication of select project elements, and BIM technology. This enabled him to successfully improve on both the schedule and budget.
Prior to his work at Hunt Construction, Jerry was a regional project executive within the national healthcare group for Turner Construction. Earlier work also includes increasingly responsible assignments at M.A. Mortenson Company.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL.
