He will also spearhead business and client development initiatives for the sector in the southwest region.
STSW is a regional leader in mission critical project delivery having managed close to 1,000,000sf of data center construction over the past five years. STSW’s mission critical staff of 40 is currently managing projects throughout Texas, as well as in Oklahoma, California, Washington and Virginia.
“The mission critical market in Texas is very strong, even throughout the recent economic challenges,” said Anderson. “Now, as the economy turns the corner, this sector is very robust. We are one of the top markets in the nation for mission critical facility development and Structure Tone Southwest is a leader in project delivery, both design-build and traditional construction manager (CM). It is a very unique time and I am extremely excited to have this important leadership opportunity for our firm.”
Lane Anderson is a 22-year construction and design veteran with nation-wide experience. He joined STSW in 2009 as senior project manager and was promoted to manager of the MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) technical services group during his tenure.
“In his five years with STSW Lane has proven to be a very astute, dynamic leader,” said Joseph Cribbin, executive vice president in charge of STSW. “Our strong growth in mission critical is in large part due to his consistent quality delivery and client-first focus. I expect great things in the future from him and for our position in the mission critical market.”
A graduate of Texas A&M, Lane holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. He is also a graduate of FMI’s Project Management Academy and serves as a mentor for STSW’s rotational project engineer (RPE) program.
