Tight Schedule

Structure Tone completed a 10,000sf tenant fit-out for Motorola’s Government Relations division in Washington, DC. The scope of work included private offices, break room, pantry, reception desk and a full audio/visual package in the conference room. The project required an accelerated demolition phase to support the required move-in schedule. To accommodate this schedule, the space had to be fully demolished back to shell condition. The entire demolition of the hard offices, electrical, HVAC and finishes was accomplished in less than one week to keep the nine-week construction phase on schedule.

Finishes & Unique Elements

Once the demolition was complete, Structure Tone installed specialty finishes including stainless accent rails in the training rooms, NovaWall fabric-wrapped wall panels throughout the entire space, projection screens and projectors to support the extensive audio/visual needs of the client, motorized mechanical shades supported by audio/visual integrated controls, and metal display arms for the reception area computer screens and display monitors. We also installed two new supplemental AC units in the IDF rooms to support IT server and tel/data requirements. Additionally, an uninterruptible power supply system was installed to ensure IT and audio/visual continuity in the new tenant space.
