Fitted out by Structure Tone, this vertical village is reimagining the modern office.
The new offices for Havas UK at London’s Pancras Square House has won the regional British Council for Offices (BCO) “Best Fit Out of Workplace” Award in the annual BCO Awards program.
Designed by MCM Architecture and fitted out in only 26 weeks by Structure Tone, the 167,000sf ‘village’ is home to over 25 different agencies and brings together over 1,700 people under one roof into a reimagined creative community.
The complex design and extensive renovations included: 10 new staircases, organized so that no staircase connects more than two floors at one spot and literally forces people to walk through shared common areas; a state-of-the-art, 200-person auditorium called The Forum; and open-plan office areas covering over 60% of the floor plate.
“We are absolutely delighted to see this amazing HKX project honoured with such a prodigious award, particularly as we celebrate our 30th year in London,” says Dean Manning, Managing Director of Structure Tone International. “This is our second BCO award in a row, and we are incredibly proud to be recognised for delivering the highest-quality products in the interior fit-out market.”
