Structure Tone’s health and safety credentials are beyond compare, having achieved an exceptional Achilles assessment score of 99%!
We have completed millions of man-hours without incident and reduced our minor incidents significantly year on year. We are committed to eliminating operational risks and hazards and creating the best possible working conditions for our employees.
Structure Tone drives home the importance of safety on its sites, providing employees and subcontractors with safety training, compliance and safety programs. One of our most important programs is the safety behaviour workshop, which we run for contractors on our projects.
As a standard, all site managers are trained to the IOSH Managing Safely standards (4-to-5-day safety courses for managers). Each course is accredited by IOSH and is recognised worldwide. We are proud to say we have a 100% pass rate.
We have built up an exceptional safety culture, including nine Gold RoSPA awards and achieving a RoSPA Gold medal for consecutive wins.
Structure Tone are accredited to OHSAS 18001: 2007 Occupational Health & Safety Management System. To ensure effective organisation and arrangements for the implementation we have appointed a Director to manage the SHEQ Systems for Structure Tone international business unit, which is Royston Somerfield, who is in place to support Alan Ford the UK Operations Director who is ultimate accountable for health and safety for the UK operations.
In 2008, we were accredited to ISO Standards for Environmental and Quality Management Systems for UK and Ireland operations. Since that time we have never been issued any non-conformities for Structure Tone International operations in the UK or Ireland business units.
