Montgomery Alexander joins the Structure Tone organization as Director of Internal Audit

Internal audit expert and AEC veteran Montgomery Alexander has joined the Structure Tone organization’s compliance group as the new Director of Internal Audit. Based in the New York City office, Montgomery will help support the organization’s industry-leading compliance and ethics program.

With over 20 years of experience across several industries, Montgomery brings a unique perspective to Structure Tone’s compliance team. After spending the first half of his career working in the education and financial services industries, Montgomery transitioned to a management position in an architecture, engineering and construction firm. For the next 13 years, he gained a deep understanding of the construction industry by auditing AEC projects spanning various sectors. In his role at Structure Tone, Montgomery will oversee the organization’s internal audit team and work closely with corporate leaders to design an all-encompassing audit plan. His diverse background, expertise and understanding of the AEC industry will undoubtedly enhance Structure Tone’s culture of integrity and transparency.

“Monty is a former teacher and will take that approach in his role at Structure Tone,” says Brian Fields, Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer. “He’s here to educate people across all disciplines and help us implement best practices.”
