Jersey City has been the fastest growing municipality in New Jersey since 2010. The area, designated as the “Powerhouse Arts District” was formerly an industrial area with manufacturing and warehouse facilities.
Pavarini McGovern provided preconstruction and construction management at-risk services for the luxury 35-story residential building, which provides a significant contribution to the transformation of the Hudson River neighbor, while preserving the area’s artist community.
The 35-story building provides 451 rental apartments, along with an attached 10-level parking garage with a swimming pool and amenity terrace on the roof. As part of an agreement with Jersey City, the building will include 10 below market/affordable apartment units. PMG generated a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) for the work with Jersey City Mayor’s office.
