David Adams and Donal Lyons Named to ENR Regional’s 2018 Top Young Professionals

Account Executive David Adams and Virtual Construction Manager Donal Lyons have both been named to ENR Regional’s 2018 Top Young Professionals. This competition recognizes the best and brightest construction and design professionals under the age of 40.

Based in Structure Tone’s Woodbridge, NJ office, David Adams is an account executive with diverse client and project experience. In the last 15 years, David has managed building out-of-the-ground office buildings and hotels, gut renovations for interior spaces, complex MEP system installations, data center projects, commissioning programs, parking structure construction, and laboratory renovations for clients across multiple sectors. He is a LEED Green Associate, ASHE and OSHA certified, and an active member of his community.

Within his impressive project portfolio are two projects which have made a significant impact on revitalizing Broad Street in Newark, NJ: the Courtyard Marriott Hotel and Prudential Tower.

Structure Tone’s second promising young professional is Donal Lyons, part of Structure Tone’s virtual design and construction team in Boston. He and his team use 3D and virtual modeling as a tool for advanced coordination, often working alongside the design team and subcontractors to hone design documents and shop drawings down to the fine details, from specific pipe fittings to the size of duct work. Donal’s work to streamline elements of the design and construction process can save time, money and the headaches of the back-and-forth between RFIs and reviews.

Donal was named to Building Design & Construction’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2017 and has contributed to some of our organization’s most high-profile projects, including LF Driscoll’s work on the Comcast Technology Center, Penn Medicine Pavilion, Wistar Institute Fox Tower and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Roberts Center, among many others.

Both top young professionals are members of Structure Tone’s Emerging Leaders program, which brings together the company’s next generation of leaders to take a proactive role in guiding the future of the organization.
