The Safe Choice Is The Right Choice
The Structure Tone organization’s goal is to ensure the safety of the public, our clients, subcontractors, and employees working on and around our project sites. Our commitment extends to protecting property and the environment. There is nothing more important about the service we provide.
Structure Tone is recognized locally and nationally for project safety performance, and we continually strive to set the highest standards for excellence. We meet, and in many cases exceed, the regulatory requirements for the geographic markets and sectors we work in. We are known for working smart and being thorough planners, determining the greatest project risks, and developing suitable mitigation strategies.
We develop a written site-specific safety program for every project. The program addresses our clients’ safety needs and unique requirements for that project and/or site as well as our standard practices, requirements of local building codes, and concerns of the client and community.
A key element of our safety program is outreach and communication. We work with our subcontractors to establish procedures that will coordinate outside groups, such as the local fire department, emergency medical assistance and community groups.
Training To Be Safe
With proper training and sound on-site safety practices, injuries can be and have been prevented.
All personnel, including subcontractors must receive and review a copy of our site-specific safety plan prior to the start of construction. They are required to go through our site safety orientation. Regular safety meetings are held with the project team to review the project and provide training on new procedures. We choose to work with subcontractors that have safe building practices, indicated by their performance on past work.
We collaborate with owners, other partners, and many Structure Tone departments, including Legal, Insurance, and Operations, to plan and implement a comprehensive safety approach. The Structure Tone organization develops processes to address unique safety issues at each job site. Skilled operations and safety professionals make sure procedures are followed. We are fully accountable for our processes and outcomes.
Safety is everyone’s responsibility on our job sites.
