The Philadelphia Museum of Art Master Plan Projects Our team has been partnering with the Philadelphia Museum of Art to preserve, renovate, and enhance the museum experience in projects large and small since 2004. Since the beginning, it has been important to us to approach each job in one of Philadelphia’s most celebrated Art Deco structures with deliberate care for the building and its delicate contents.
Hollis School District Upgrades Over the course of two summers, Structure Tone worked with Hollis Upper Elementary School and the Hollis Primary School to improve their energy efficiency measures and update their heating and electric systems. As a first measure of energy conservation, all the lighting in the schools was replaced with LED fixtures that use 75% less energy. The more drastic change in energy efficiency came when we replaced sections of the school’s existing roofs to install new solar panel systems. In total, over 300 panels were installed using the 100KW PVA system. Before starting the project, the buildings’ existing conditions were reviewed to ensure the program could be installed efficiently and be able to successfully produce power to the schools. Since the solar panel installations, the schools have received energy recovery credits with state agencies.
Confidential Technology Client Structure Tone New Hampshire completed a two phase, interior and exterior renovation project for this technology company located in Amherst, NH.
Seven Rockingham Road Structure Tone worked with the Berni family to develop and construct a 6,545sf, two-story office building to accommodate an office environment. The building includes men and women’s bathrooms on each floor and an elevator to service the second floor. The team built out 3,100sf on the first floor and 3,345sf on the second floor. The building is a structural steel shell with metal stud framing, plywood, and Hardie Plank siding and trim for the exterior walls.
Hudson Fire Station This opportunity arose when the town of Hudson, New Hampshire needed a new fire station. The 7,800sf, brand new, design build facility would help fill a gap in one end of town and would serve as a model station for future renovations.
ASCAP In response to an upcoming lease expiration, the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) relocated their offices from 1900 Broadway to 250 West 57th Street. Structure Tone was selected by this non-profit, performing rights organization and membership association to provide general contracting services for their new headquarters. Comprised of more than 735,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers, ASCAP’s mission is to license and promote the music of their members and make it possible for them to be paid fairly when their music is performed publicly, live or over any media platform.
