During Milbank LLP’s move from Wall Street to 55 Hudson Yards, we transformed 10 expansive floors into a world-class work experience for lawyers, staff and clients. This single-phase project spans floors 30-39, with the 35th, 36th and 37th floors completing early for TCO and PA requirements. We combined private space for focused work with social areas for team collaboration. Keeping with the industry trend of reduced room sizes, partner and associate offices are smaller than their former ones downtown, but space is expanded visually using high ceilings and reflective surfaces. Contemporary art pieces and custom finishes accentuate the architecture and complement curves and shapes that make the office unique.

California-based Silicon Valley Bank wanted a breakout office in New York City that showcases the company’s unique collaborative model. The office at 387 Park Avenue South is double the footprint of their previous space and provides a high-end “hub” for employees and investors. Structure Tone managed this expansion on an aggressive 12-week schedule so that SVB could be operational as quickly as possible.

Completing this striking new facility required a level of coordination and dexterity among the team to implement the project successfully.
Structure Tone Southwest completed the two-phased project of the Gemalto Austin Office re-stack on the 3rd, 4th, and half of the 2nd floor in the Arboretum Plaza. The project is a multi-phased approach to downsize from an existing 60,000sf floor plan to 45,000sf while the client remains active and in occupancy. The project team worked closely with Gemalto’s staff, especially the Information Technology group, to maintain a zero impact to their critical IT systems.
