Structure Tone has managed more than 24 million sf of construction for the education sector, building state-of-the-art K through 12 facilities, college preparatory schools, and on college and university campuses in urban and suburban settings. We have managed construction for a wide range of projects in the education industry. Previous projects include classrooms, dorms, libraries, science labs, performing arts complexes and more to meet this sector’s need for modern and efficient facilities, with a safety record that is 77 percent better than the industry average.

We understand the key concerns and project drivers for school buildings. We have the knowledge and expertise to successfully collaborate with school boards, teaching and professional staff, parent groups and community representatives to proactively meet project goals.

Our construction management approach adheres to balance budget restraints. Our teams design and build for sustainability and rapidly changing technology. Throughout construction, we schedule to avoid disrupting the normal operations of active academic facilities and busy campuses. We regularly communicate program goals and project progress to trustees, donors, faculty, students and parents.

“Structure Tone has done an excellent job in representing Rutgers University in all aspects of the project. Their team is both experienced and knowledgeable in all phases of the construction process and has been able to successfully manage a very challenging project.”

Joan L. Sitler, Senior Project Manager, Rutgers University Facilities
